Small space decorating is a challenge that we all face
when living in the city. This Spring, Queens Mamas is hosting a series of
articles to help you clean, unclutter, and decorate your home in ways that go
well in small spaces.
Baby gear, diapers, clothing, wipes, toys, and tiny socks
scattered around like rose petals can be enough to make you scream. Until your
baby can grow old enough to clean up after themselves (which may even be never)
there are some ways to help tackle the clutter and make their nursery a clean

If you are one of the lucky ones who actually have a room for your new tot then good for you ! I am not one of those people. I cram my tween, a nanny, the baby, and my husband and I into a 3 bedroom house that I like to refer to as “cozy”. This means that I have a crib in my room. In honor of World Breastfeeding Week, here are some local resources for breastfeeding in Queens. I have recently begun nursing my second child and found it no easier the second time around. There is very little support for women who want to breastfeed and the opinions are varied. For every question I have asked over the last few weeks I have gotten 5 answers in return. The bottom line is that the choice to breastfeed is a personal one and something that needs to be supported.
