A Guide to Forest Hills Queens NY
Ok, I confess! Forest Hills is my favorite neighborhood in Queens. Forest Hills is located in
eastern Queens at the end of the E/F train lines at 71st and Continental Ave. There are so many things to do in this neighborhood that it is hard to keep up, it is quickly becoming one of Queens’ most sought after neighborhoods to live in. The most popular part of Forest Hills is right off of the subway stop on Austin St. The train drops you right in the middle of Austin where you can either walk east or west to find interesting things to do or see. For locals who live here, Austin is sometimes a place to avoid because it is so packed. Here are our picks for kid friendly things to enjoy in FoHi.
Kid Friendly Food
Let me start by saying that here at Queens Mamas we do not believe that you must eat fast food or
at chain restaurants to dine with your children. We realize that there are many of these restaurants in Fohi but you will not see them listed here.
