Saturday Sculpture Workshops at Socrates Sculpture Park
12 PM – 3 PM (rain or shine)
Workshops are offered in the education area at Socrates Sculpture Park on a drop in basis. Participants work with a new artist each week, exploring diverse and innovative art mediums.

Giant Root Structure with Free Style Arts Association
Using scotch tape and thousands of colored drinking straws; participants create a giant collaborative art installation that mimics the underground root structure of trees. Kids become "underground" animals, weaving strands of straws all around them as they work.

FARM FEST at the Queens County Farm Museum
11:00 a. m. – 4:00 p.m.
Celebrate the return of spring with a visit to the farm! Sheep shearing demonstrations, Dutch crafts and cultural exhibits and spring plant sale. Country Western Band, Hayrides, historic house and greenhouse tours, food, pony rides and petting zoo.
ADMISSION: $3.00 per person
