Young Chefs® Academy
Young Chefs® Academy is a unique culinary experience which offers cooking classes to children in a safe environment that encourages discovery and creativity. Each visit to Young Chefs® Academy is a new experience with fresh monthly themes and exciting new programs. Students sharpen their skills by employing the mantra, “Mise en Place” which, in the cooking world, translates into “Everything in its place.”
At Young Chefs® Academy, we take the fear, mystery and the unknown out of cooking. In addition, each class and event incorporates supplemental subject matter which ties into each theme. Our staff of highly qualified teachers, chefs and nutritional experts carry out our mission to provide an interactive learning experience that gives children the opportunity to develop a life-long love for the culinary arts.
Young Chefs Academy is more than a cooking school for kids… we’re inspiring a new generation of creative, self-confident young chefs by helping them cultivate a life-skill they can carry with them for the rest of their lives. Each program incorporates various levels of curricula allowing students to expand on more than simply cooking a recipe from scratch. They walk away with historical background; mathematical- and/or science-based applications; enhancement of reading skills; and so very much more.
Regardless of what activities you choose, you know that each class is packed full of creativity, self-empowerment and FUN! We make it our mission to teach kids and teens the JOY and VALUE of cooking in a safe, relaxed environment.
Our Weekly Classes at Young Chefs® Academy is a great opportunity to sharpen life-skills and stir-up creativity! Join us each week as we explore a veritable smorgasbord of dishes. Each month is based on a different theme with new recipes each week. One month we may be discovering new tastes from culinary masters such as Rachael Ray and Emeril Lagasse while another we may be soaking up the traditions of old world dishes of Italian Cuisine.
Come celebrate and be the Chef of the Day with us at Young Chefs Academy! All of our Birthday Parties are filled with interactive, hands-on cooking and delicious fun. Only Young Chefs Academy offers our ALL-INCLUSIVE party packages! Just sit back and let us handle everything from printing and mailing your invitations to writing down your birthday gifts as they are opened. Our parties are packed full of amusing activity! We will introduce each guest to the essentials of cooking as they make their “creation” from scratch all while being entertained by our lively staff and their crazy “antics”!
