Welcome to Pee Wee Folks Whitestone. My name is Michele Gembressi and I am the director of our Whitestone location.
Our school has been a part of the Whitestone community since 1981. Many children in our town have attended our school; in fact some of them are currently staff members here. Nothing gives me greater pleasure then to meet former students and hear their fond memories of our school! We take great pride in creating a program that exceeds the industry standards. Our goal is to light the spark in your child’s imagination. Our teachers are dedicated and continually updating our curriculum to provide your child with an exceptional school experience. Our reputation in the community is the testament to that fact.
Registration for our Fall session is ongoing with limited space still available. If you are
looking for a school or an after school program in our town, please give us a call. I will
be happy to show you what Pee Wee Folks is all about each Pee Wee Folks is a unique preschool that has evolved to meet the needs of the community that it serves. All of the schools are licensed. Our Whitestone, Queens location is licensed by the NYC Dept. of Health, Bureau of Daycare and is contracted with the NYC Department of Education to provide Universal Pre K services. Our Long Island schools are licensed by the NYS Dept. of Social Services. The needs of our
communities are constantly changing so Pee Wee Folks changes to meet those needs. Our hours are structured to offer families many different options to meet their daycare needs. We accept DSS and ACD Vouchers, and have been a Universal Pre-school Community based provider in our Whitestone location since the inception of Universal
Pre-K in Queens. In addition to Preschool classes we also offer after -school programs which serve our neighboring elementary schools. Bus service from schools to our centers provide children with a safe, fun and enjoyable place to spend hours when school is done and parents are still at work. Homework assistance, sports activities, arts and crafts, games, outdoor play and of course healthy snacks are waiting for your children when they arrive. Pee Wee Folks is not a franchise day care. We are small enough to maintain that personal at home feeling and all of our Directors and staff take
a tremendous amount of pride in our centers and in our programs. We are reachable, we listen to our family’s needs and we are all just a phone call away if you should have any questions or concerns.
