HomeFront Veterinary House Calls is a premiere provider of veterinary services for cats, dogs and small mammals all within the comfort of your home. Our team is led by Dr. Kristie Souders.
Dr. Kristie graduated from the University of Tennessee College of Veterinary Medicine in 1998. She was an associate in a general medicine practice in Jasper, TN for 5 years before joining the Army Veterinary Corps. While on active duty she served in Atlanta, GA for over 2 years,Vilseck, Germany for 2 years, and a one year tour in Iraq. During this time she earned an MBA from Colorado State University.
Dr. Kristie moved to New York in 2008 where she diversified her professional experiences by working in shelter medicine, relief work, and a “big city” practice. Among other positions, she served as Medical Director for the North Shore Animal League, the world’s largest no-kill animal shelter. Dr. Kristie is veteran with the Army Reserves.
In her spare time, Dr. Kristie enjoys spending time with her fiancé and her mischievous 3 year-old blind cat, Alien. Her hobbies include reading, learning to play the banjo, learning to knit, exercising, keeping up with friends, and pining for Southern food.
